Dex-Friendly Wooden Block Tower Replacement
A downloadable tool
A suggested system of hearing and repeating phrases, for use instead of tumbling wooden block towers in games like Dread and Wretched & Alone.
Tumbling wooden block towers are a barrier to some games for people - they require a level of physical dexterity, tolerance for sudden loud noises, and everyone being in the same room.
However, many alternatives (especially rolling dice or pulling cards until you've got four of the same number) lack the semi-skilled element of pulling blocks.
This system, based on hearing a short phrase and repeating it back, is hopefully accessible, tense, and skilled enough to be really impressive if somebody gets a difficult 'pull' right.
Since this is an accessibility tool, it's available for free. However, if you can make a donation, or leave a review, that would be much appreciated - especially if you found it useful.
